When the Heat Is On, NECI Stays Cool
Ivan
Smith Furniture needed industrial fans for its new
Distribution Center. This has been an exceptionally hot
summer, and the fans were needed to decrease temperature in
the warehouse and circulate air to create a more comfortable
working environment for employees. They were all set to
purchase the fans, when they ran into a snag. The manufacturer
of the fans couldn't deliver the equipment on time. The
temperature was rising and the clock was ticking.
NECI's
General Manager Ryan Harner and Sales Representative Blake
DeFatta went to the customer's site and assessed the
situation. They worked quickly to put together a complete
turnkey proposal that included material, mechanical and
electrical installation. There was no time to spare, and the
team put the proposal together in only one day.
NECI's
supplier, MacroAir, was able to deliver two 20-foot diameter
and two 24-foot diameter MacroAir Whisper Foil Industrial Fans
in just one week, three weeks faster than the competition.
Which only goes to prove, when the heat is on….NECI
delivers.
Door Rolls Up in Gulf of Mexico

NECI
Sales Representative Jon Thorne makes it a point to know all
of his customers throughout his territory, his entire
territory. Jon received a call from longtime customer Shell
Offshore Deepwater. The company needed a roll-up door that
would act as a sound barrier in a conference room. This was no
ordinary conference room, however. It was located on an oil
rig platform in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.
The
customer did not want your typical, run-of-the-mill door. The
door could not obstruct passageway when it was open. There
could be no interference on either side. It had to block out
noise. It had to have a window so people could look in before
entering. And it had to look good.
Jon
knew exactly what his customer needed, and he called Roy
Latimer at Flexbarrier for the solution. He ordered the
Flexbarrier Electric 22-ounce Vinyl Roll-Up Door and had it
designed to the customer's exact specifications, including
matching the color to the surrounding walls. With the
condensed size of the tracking and hood, some visitors to the
room don't even notice the door is there, until its rolled
down.
Delivery
to the site was no problem, despite its location, as Jon makes
sure his customers are well served on time.
