Gen3 Provides Unprecedented Throughput
Possibilities
Hytrol
Conveyor Company has released its next generation of the
EZLogicŪ Accumulation System, Gen3. Hytrol paid
attention and responded to the voice of users and has
incorporated new technologies for ease of installation,
operation and maintenance. Gen3 has many new features
that will provide greater flexibility and functionality
within your system.
Here
are some of those features:
Input/Output
Power (IOP) system gives the integrator or
installer one central location to wire in all “real
time” inputs and outputs to the EZLogicŪ system, such as
zone stop inputs, slug mode inputs, photo-eye outputs,
“jam detected” outputs, and other “real time” I/O. Easy
to reconfigure, it can also be used for “peer to peer”
communication.
Dynamic
Zone Allocation enables EZLogicŪ to
automatically adjust the conveyor’s zone length to
accommodate the length of the carton being conveyed.
With Dynamic Zone Allocation, you will see increased
throughput, accumulation density, conveyor efficiency
and system flexibility. Longer cartons are easily and
efficiently conveyed in singulation mode. Zones may be
sized for the smallest carton, if needed. Longer cartons
introduced after installation do not obsolete the
system, so the low-usage, long box is no longer a
problem.
Controller/Transducer
Assembly consists of a base, EZLogicŪ
Controller, Cordset and Transducer (Sensor). The
assembly reduces excess cabling since the Controller
plugs in. Cables run in “proper” direction for either
left-hand and right-hand flow. Controllers can be
removed and replaced without disturbing cabling.
