A Message from the President

Did you know that 8 out of 10 businesses have chosen leasing as their preferred method of financing at one time or another?

Leasing provides additional sources of financing and can improve cash flow. Leasing does not require a large initial cash outlay nor does it tie up your line of credit. Leasing has a lower payment than similar term debt financing.

100% Financing. With leasing, there is very little money down—perhaps only the first and last month's payments are due at the time of the lease. Since a lease does not require a down payment, it is equivalent to 100% financing. You may include some or all of the expenses associated with the equipment use into the lease, such as shipping, taxes, installation or freight.

Flexible Payments & Terms. Lease terms can range from 12 to 72 months. Payments are fixed to protect you against inflation and an unpredictable market.

Tax Advantages. Leasing payments are treated as expenses on a company's balance sheet; therefore, equipment does not have to be depreciated over 5 to 7 years.

Lease Advantages

  • Tax treatment
  • 100% financing
  • Conserves capital
  • Improves cash flow
  • Flexibility
  • Fixed payments
  • Speed

To design a leasing plan that best meets your needs or for more information concerning the leasing of material handling equipment, please contact us at Nelson Equipment Company.

Sincerely,

Mark K. Nelson, PCMH

"Whatever It Takes"

Usually we highlight a successful venture between Nelson Equipment and one of our customers. This month, we would like to change that a bit to tell you about one of our own successes, our General Manager Ryan Harner.

Office superhero? Ultimate multi-tasker? Guru of product knowledge? Definitive planner?

Ryan is all of the above plus more. He performs a crucial role in the process of establishing and maintaining efficient administrative services that allow a responsive, product- and service-oriented company such as ours to handle every facet of our day-to-day business. Ryan is one of the most critical and visible employees of Nelson Equipment. His job touches almost every aspect of the business, which oftentimes determines the tone and direction of our organization.

Tracking shipments, deliveries, keeping up with installation progress and schedules, taking customer orders, answering customer questions, coordinating sales orders, gathering information, creating solutions, presenting and implementing action plans, plus acting as the communication center for our sales staff…Ryan is the go-to guy.

For the past 10 years, he has performed each working day with the motto of "Whatever it takes." As a customer of Nelson Equipment, if you have a question, a concern, or just need information, Ryan is the one guy who has or can acquire the information you need.

He is one of the many reasons that Nelson Equipment remains on the cutting edge of material handling technology.

Model ABEZ Zero Pressure Accumulating Conveyor

Hytrol's Model ABEZ Zero Pressure Accumulating Conveyor is a zero pressure live roller accumulation conveyor. The many features provided by its patented EZLogic accumulation system make it the most versatile conveyor of its type. The conveyor consists of accumulation zones—each containing an EZLogic accumulation module, which senses product presence to determine whether the zone should be driving or accumulating. ABEZ conveyor lines, regardless of length, may be fully accumulated with product and require no backpressure at the discharge end or anywhere along the length of the conveyor.

The Model ABEZ is utilized in a vast array of applications ranging from manufacturing, assembly lines, packaging and shipping, to high speed distribution systems. Products that may be conveyed vary from cardboard boxes to plastic totes to custom assembly pallets of all types.

High throughput distribution centers utilize the Model ABEZ in areas feeding merges, sorters, as well as in sortation take-away lines feeding shipping areas. The flexibility to select different operation modes, ability to detect product jams and the sleep feature allow this conveyor to function both efficiently and reliably in many material handling systems.
