NECI Headquarters Will Relocate to Larger Facility

Nelson Equipment Co., Inc. will undergo a planned move of the company’s headquarters to a new location in Shreveport. The new location is on St. Vincent Avenue, adjacent to the Slack Industrial Park. It is an ideal location for access, as it is bordered to the north by the Inner Loop, the south by The Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, and the west by I-49. The new facility allows us to expand in the future as we will have additional undeveloped land to construct on.

NECI’s existing facility located on Flournoy Lucas Road will remain in use as the company’s fabrication facility. Our installation and services division will continue to office out of these facilities.

The anticipated move date is October 2006.

Mark K. Nelson, President of Nelson Equipment Co., Inc., is taking over outside sales responsibility for the Shreveport area. Efforts are ongoing to follow up on all outstanding projects and inquiries. Mark is making every effort to come by and introduce himself to customers residing in this area. 36-Lane High Speed Sortation System

Hytrol Conveyor 36-lane high speed sortation system can be shortened to meet various needs.

Nelson Equipment Co., Inc. has been selected to broker the sale of material handling equipment from a major distribution center. Equipment for sale includes a 36-lane high speed sortation system by Hytrol Conveyor. Included with this system is over 600 lineal feet of powered transport and induction conveyor, and 1,500 lineal feet of gravity after sort conveyor.

This system is currently installed and can be inspected by interested parties prior to disassembly. This system can be shortened to meet various needs.

This Kingway IV 3-level pallet flow pick module can store 960 pallets.

A Kingway IV 3-level pallet flow pick module is now available for-sale. This system is designed for full case order fulfillment and has a storage capacity of 960 pallets. The 2-deep system is capable of being modified into a 2-level system if your application requires.
